Holiday Weekend

So the long weekend is looming. Are you one of those people who looks around and wonders what to do? Or are you one of those people who plans a minute by minute play-by-play of what you are going to do with all your free time?

Me? I’m the type of person who thinks wow think of all the books and knitting I can get knittingaddictiondone. I wonder if I can get my husband and kids to go somewhere so I can spend a day alone to read and knit? Some might say I’m addicted… I say I don’t need that type of negativity in my life. If I could find a way to knit and write my books at the same time I would be unstoppable, I could basically take over the world. Well the literary world that is.

Don’t get me wrong I love my family I really do. But sometimes you just need time alone. Quite time to knit and read, or knit and be quite with the world around you. to be calm and read, I don’t know about you but sometimes it just helps to center me and me get me back in touch with myself.  readingaddiction

But I digress, its a happy holiday weekend. What are you going to be working on this weekend? Besides fun family time, BBQ’s, suntan’s, and fireworks?  Besides a couple of my WIP’s that I have mentioned in my What’s on my needles from an earlier blog post in the week. I have started on a new project a Shawlette that I am really excited about. And I’m hoping to get some real movement on sometime this weekend. Also hoping to visit a new LYS that I’ve never been to. So if that happens look for my thoughts on that.

But most important, I want to wish everyone out there a safe and happy 4th of July. If you don’t live in the US, I want everyone to still have a wonderful weekend!!

Much love, and hugs all around. — Losa
