So the long weekend is looming. Are you one of those people who looks around and wonders what to do? Or are you one of those people who plans a minute by minute play-by-play of what you are going to do with all your free time?
Me? I’m the type of person who thinks wow think of all the books and knitting I can get done. I wonder if I can get my husband and kids to go somewhere so I can spend a day alone to read and knit? Some might say I’m addicted… I say I don’t need that type of negativity in my life. If I could find a way to knit and write my books at the same time I would be unstoppable, I could basically take over the world. Well the literary world that is.
Don’t get me wrong I love my family I really do. But sometimes you just need time alone. Quite time to knit and read, or knit and be quite with the world around you. to be calm and read, I don’t know about you but sometimes it just helps to center me and me get me back in touch with myself.
But I digress, its a happy holiday weekend. What are you going to be working on this weekend? Besides fun family time, BBQ’s, suntan’s, and fireworks? Besides a couple of my WIP’s that I have mentioned in my What’s on my needles from an earlier blog post in the week. I have started on a new project a Shawlette that I am really excited about. And I’m hoping to get some real movement on sometime this weekend. Also hoping to visit a new LYS that I’ve never been to. So if that happens look for my thoughts on that.
But most important, I want to wish everyone out there a safe and happy 4th of July. If you don’t live in the US, I want everyone to still have a wonderful weekend!!
Much love, and hugs all around. — Losa
